Bianco Capena DOC
A near extinct white DOC from the Tiber valley north of Rome, created in the 1970s when the local cooperative still bottled in volume. The blend is the usual Roman formula: Malvasia and Trebbiano with a little Bellone, giving a soft, floral, faintly bitter white with low acid, meant to be drunk within the year. Recent production is close to zero and official statistics list only a few hectares.
