Canavese DOC

The catch-all DOC for the Canavese, covering everything the Erbaluce di Caluso and Carema DOCGs don't: light Nebbiolo-based reds, Barbera, rosato and Erbaluce whites. The reds are pale, fresh and mountain-styled, red cherry, raspberry, wild herbs and a peppery lift, with modest tannin, meant for drinking within a few years. Cieck and Ferrando bottle it alongside their Caluso wines; that's how it reaches the US.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Canavese, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
