Capri DOC
A postage-stamp DOC of a few hectares on the island's terraces, most of them owned by a single estate, Scala Fenicia. The white is a Falanghina-Greco-Biancolella blend with lemon, white peach, sea spray and dried herbs over medium body and a bitter, saline finish; the rare red is a light, earthy Piedirosso. Almost all of it is drunk on the island in summer at tourist prices. The wine is decent, the address is the point.
