Erice DOC

A hillside DOC around the medieval town of Erice, with vineyards up to 500 meters that get sea breezes and a cooler ripening than the Trapani coast below. Whites (Catarratto, Grillo, even Müller Thurgau) are fresh with lime, green apple and herbs; Nero d'Avola and Syrah reds are mid weight with red plum, pepper and soft tannin. Fazio is the estate that drove the DOC's creation and makes nearly all the exported wine.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Erice, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
