Genazzano DOC

A dormant DOC from the Cesanese hills, created in 1992 for blended whites and reds in a zone where every serious grower bottles Cesanese di Olevano Romano or Piglio instead. The rules describe a soft Malvasia and Bellone white and a light Sangiovese and Cesanese red; in practice almost nothing has been declared under the name in years. It exists on paper and in the Italian register more than in bottles.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Genazzano, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
