Ghemme DOCG

Gattinara's neighbor on the Novara side, grown on glacial moraine and clay rather than volcanic rock, which gives slightly fuller, earthier wines. Dried cherry, violet, tobacco, wet earth and a mineral iron edge, with high acid and firm, dusty tannin. Small production, tiny number of producers, and the wines need five to ten years. Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo and Rovellotti carry the appellation.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Ghemme, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
