Martina (Martina Franca) DOC

The twin of Locorotondo, from the same Verdeca and Bianco d'Alessano blend grown on the other side of the Valle d'Itria around Martina Franca. Pale, light, dry and crisp with lemon, green apple, white flowers and a bitter almond note, meant to be drunk within a year or two with seafood or the local capocollo. Production has shrunk to a handful of cooperatives and small estates, and almost none leaves Italy under the DOC.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Martina (Martina Franca), import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
