San Colombano al Lambro DOC

The only DOC in the province of Milan, a single hill rising out of the Po plain that the Milanese have farmed since Roman times. The red is a Croatina and Barbera blend, sometimes lightly fizzy, with plum, blackberry, violet and a rustic, slightly bitter tannin. The white uses the local Verdea grape with Chardonnay for a light, appley wine. Nettare dei Santi is the estate keeping the name alive; the wines are mostly drunk within an hour's drive.

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make San Colombano al Lambro, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
