Terracina (Moscato di Terracina) DOC

A DOC for a local Muscat strain grown on limestone slopes above the Terracina beaches. The dry version is the surprise: intensely grapey and floral on the nose (orange blossom, jasmine, lychee, sage) but bone dry and saline on the palate, like a southern Italian answer to dry Alsace Muscat. The amabile and passito versions add honey and candied citrus. Cantina Sant'Andrea makes the reference wines in all three styles.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Terracina (Moscato di Terracina), import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
