Terratico di Bibbona DOC

Created to give the strip of coast immediately north of Bolgheri its own name, with the same maritime climate and the same Bordeaux-plus-Syrah playbook. The reds are ripe, dark and modern: black plum, cassis, sweet spice and rounded tannin, with more Sangiovese in the cheaper blends. Almost every serious producer in the area (Casadei, Sator and others) prefers Toscana IGT, so DOC-labeled bottles are scarce even locally.
