Canelli DOCG

IL PROGETTODOCGCANELLIAAIT41337091Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita

No strip issued. I'm still hunting a bottle.

The historic heart of Moscato production, promoted to its own DOCG in 2023 with lower yields and a Riserva category that is new territory for Moscato. In the glass it's Moscato d'Asti with more concentration: ripe peach, orange peel, sage and honey, gentle fizz, around 5% alcohol, and a longer, chalkier finish from the limestone of Canelli. Older bottlings still say 'Moscato d'Asti Canelli' on the label, which count.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Canelli, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
