Cònero DOCG

IL PROGETTODOCGCÒNEROAAIT50599909Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita

No strip issued. I'm still hunting a bottle.

The riserva version of Rosso Conero, from Montepulciano grown on the white limestone of Monte Conero right on the Adriatic. The sea breezes give these wines a lift that Abruzzo Montepulciano rarely has: black cherry, blackberry, violet, dried herbs and a touch of licorice, with dense but polished tannin and moderate acidity. Riserva bottlings from Umani Ronchi, Garofoli and Moroder are built for 10 to 15 years. Think of it as the Marche's answer to a serious, oak-aged Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Cònero, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
