Serrapetrona DOC

IL PROGETTODOCSERRAPETRONAAAIT26464547Denominazione di Origine Controllata

No strip issued. I'm still hunting a bottle.

Created alongside the sparkling DOCG to give Vernaccia Nera a still, dry outlet. The wine is deeply colored and aromatic: blackberry, black plum, violet, black pepper and clove, with a firm, slightly bitter tannic finish and moderate acidity, sometimes with a portion of dried grapes adding weight. There's also a passito. It's a rustic, characterful red that shows what the grape does without bubbles, and Quacquarini and Colleluce make most of the small production.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Serrapetrona, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
